about us

I am Assistant Professor Puttipong Poncumhak (P.T., Ph.D.), currently serving as the Dean of the School of Allied Health Sciences, University of Phayao, for the 2023–2027 term. I am also a lecturer in the Physical Therapy Program, where I specialize in teaching neurological physical therapy. My academic and research interests primarily focus on physical therapy for older adults, particularly in assessing physical performance and developing community-based screening models for fall risk. Currently, I am especially interested in investigating how mild cognitive impairment (MCI) affects physical function and body composition in this population.
